My Approach to Wedding Photography

I don’t believe your wedding day should feel like a photoshoot.

My approach is creative documentary—I’m there to document your day as it actually happens. The laughter, the happy tears, the quiet moments, the chaos, the people you love, and all the little things you probably didn’t even notice happening.

But I’m not afraid to step outside the traditional box.

When the moment calls for it, I’ll bring in creative lighting, flash, unique compositions, and a little artistic flair to create those holy-shit-that’s-a-photo images. I want your gallery to have the honest, emotional moments and the bold, cinematic images that make you stop scrolling.

I’m not here to recreate something you found on Pinterest. I’m here to create something that feels like you.

And my job doesn’t stop at taking pictures. I’m in your corner throughout the day—helping with timelines, keeping things moving, finding solutions when plans inevitably go sideways, and making sure you actually have a damn good time.

At the end of the day, I want more than for you to say, “These are beautiful.”

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Let’s be honest—you’re probably not looking for another vendor who shows up, takes some pictures, and disappears.

You’re getting me.

I’m the photographer who will help keep the day moving, crack jokes when things get a little too serious, calm you down when the timeline inevitably goes sideways, and probably tell you when you’ve got something stuck in your teeth.

I want you to feel comfortable around me. You don’t need to know how to pose, you don’t need to be photogenic, and you definitely don’t need to spend your wedding day worrying about the camera. I’ll give you direction when you need it and get out of the way when the real moments are happening.

Some parts of your day will be planned. Some will be beautifully chaotic. I’m ready for both.

I’ll be there to capture the big moments, but I’m just as interested in the little ones—the glance across the room, your dad trying not to cry, your friends losing their minds on the dance floor, or the five quiet minutes you get together when nobody else is around.

My goal is simple: make you feel like you hired a photographer you actually want to hang out with.

Because when you’re comfortable, having fun, and trusting me, that’s when the best photographs happen.
